A Silent Wish

If I could make your dreams come true
or grant a silent wish
I'd carve a little space for you
where love and hope flourish.

A place that's peaceful, free from rules
or need for explanations,
With candle light and scenic views
beyond imagination.

We'd let the quiet music of
our heartbeats fill the air,
As fireflies dance high above,
blinking without a care.

You'd only have to close your eyes
and let your spirit sing;
Its' song is where the magic lies
that gives your wish its wings.

As for the dreams that give you hope
beneath the twilight skies,
We'd cast a net of starlight rope;
catch them like butterflies.

When finally your heart is full
like the moon way up high,
We'd drift to sleep under the pull
of its sweet lullaby.

And if distance or memory
should fade your dreams from view,
Just close your eyes and dream with me;
I'll hold this space for you.
